The transfer bug has bitten the Green Bay Phoenix again. Big man Manny Patterson tweeted his decision to enter the transfer portal Monday afternoon becoming the third Phoenix player to leave the program so far this offseason joining Hunter Crist and Trevian Bell.
The news came out on April Fools Day but it was no joke, Trevian Bell will be finishing his college basketball career elsewhere. The 6’7″ Joliet, Illinois native announced his decision to leave via Twitter on Wednesday night.
With the Green Bay Phoenix season now officially over that means the off-season is here and already there is roster turnover happening across college basketball, including in Green Bay. The Green Bay Phoenix did not have an open scholarship for very long. Less than two weeks after TJ Parham received his release from Green Bay to leave the program and transfer, the Phoenix received a commitment from Illinois State transfer Josh Jefferson.
